A new study explores how reframing happens in the wild, using the popular subreddit r/ChangeMyView as its testing ground. r/ChangeMyView is a unique online community where people post their opinions, inviting others to challenge and potentially change their views. This research analyzes thousands of posts and comments where users explicitly acknowledge a shift in perspective due to another user’s argument—marked by a “delta” awarded by the original poster.
